Dass Wasser im Raum auf Geist und Körper beruhigend wirkt, wird nicht nur in unserer westlichen Wissenschaft diskutiert und bestätigt, sondern auch in Feng Shui (die Lehre beschäftigt sich mit Fluss der Lebensenergie - das Chì.) und u.a. auch in der Chinesischen Medizin. Man ist sich einig, dass die Natur, insbesondere Wasser (Seen, Flüsse, Bäche) dem Menschen bevorzugte Bedingungen schafft, die Gedanken zu sammeln und zu ordnen. Ein Indoor Brunnen regt die Sinne ebenso an, weil er dem Gehirn visuell und akustische Signale sendet, von Natur umgeben zu sein.
