No, CLIMAQUA ALGICID is not suitable for use in aquariums. Our liquid was specially developed to combat algae in indoor fountains and can be harmful to aquatic life.
4. Is it safe for my cat to drink from a fountain that has used CLIMAQUA ALGICID?
We do not recommend allowing pets to drink from a fountain that has been used with CLIMAQUA ALGICID. Although our product is specifically designed to be used safely in indoor fountains, it should not be used as a source of drinking water for animals.
5. How long does a bottle of CLIMAQUA ALGICID last?
The shelf life of CLIMAQUA ALGICID can vary depending on the size of your well and how often you use it. If you use it weekly and dose 2 capfuls (20ml) per liter of water, the 500ml bottle should last for about 13 weeks.
6. My water is suddenly blue. Is this due to ALGICID?
It is possible that an iron item has oxidized with the algaecide and is discoloring the water. Please contact us if this has happened to you.
