Description
How a fountain works
The fountain operates in a closed circuit: a pump conveys the water upwards, from where it runs over the slate back into the basin. A water connection is not necessary; a power outlet is sufficient.
The pump is a wear part and can be replaced individually at any time. We keep replacement pumps permanently in our product range.
Water evaporates during operation. Every one to two weeks, you refill it; every four to six weeks, you clean the pump with the care set. The fountain does not require any more maintenance than this.

Absolutely low-maintenance
A water wall from CLIMAQUA is very easy to care for. Similar to caring for plants, it requires fresh water regularly and should be cleaned occasionally. We provide special care products for this purpose.
Tip: Let your water wall run continuously to prevent it from drying out. This prevents dirt and limescale particles from settling and ensures that the water wall always functions optimally. With minimal effort, you can maintain the beauty and benefits of your water wall for a long time!

Do I need a water or power connection?
No water connection needed: CLIMAQUA fountains work with a closed circuit – the integrated pump keeps circulating the water you filled in. You only top up occasionally what has evaporated. For power, a standard outlet nearby is enough (230 V) – the pump and LED lighting run on it. Many small indoor fountains even manage with a USB connection.
How much water does a water wall evaporate per day at normal room temperature?
The amount of water a water wall evaporates per day at normal room temperature (approximately 20-22°C) can vary and depends on several factors, such as humidity, air circulation and the size of the water surface.
In general, however, one can say:
Average evaporation rate: Under normal conditions (40-60% relative humidity and moderate air circulation), a water wall with a surface area of about 1 square meter can evaporate about 2 to 3 liters of water per day.
It is important to note that these values are only guidelines. At higher/lower temperatures or higher/lower humidity, evaporation can be higher/lower.

How long does delivery take?
Usually 5 to 10 days. Orders to the EU are shipped from our warehouse in Germany, so you do not pay any customs duties.

Yes. Test your product at home for 30 days without any pressure. If you are not satisfied, we will refund your money.

How long is my warranty?
Two years, according to Swiss law (CO 210).
We won't leave you stranded after that: simply report your case, and we will find a generous solution as a gesture of goodwill — regardless of how old your product is.
Many of our sets include an extended warranty, which turns two years into five.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes — with Klarna, you can pay for your purchase in convenient installments. Simply select Klarna as your payment method at checkout and choose the installment option there.
This allows you to spread the investment over several months without delaying delivery.
Why does my piece look different from the photo?
Because almost every CLIMAQUA product is a natural one-off. Each piece differs from the next — markings in the stone, an unusual coloration or a rough edge are all part of it; that is natural stone.
We use these imperfections deliberately. Our products are handcrafted rather than mass-produced by machine. As long as the function is not impaired, such irregularities are not manufacturing defects, but rather the character of the object.
Can I replace individual parts later?
Yes. CLIMAQUA fountains are built with plug-in systems; about 95 percent of all parts can be replaced individually, provided they are available.
This is intentional: a defective individual part should not be a reason to dispose of an entire product.
